GW-CAL

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Plumb the mast with a calibrated digital spirit level
2. Calibrate the tilt sensor on pitch and roll as 0
3. Measure the 10 points on the drawing respecting the names
4. Rise the tool as much as possible and record Tool2 target on this position as ToolUp
5. Initialize the Depth Sensor Calibration workflow on GW
6. Lower the tool as much as possible and record Tool2 target as ToolDown
7. Run GW-Cal with the set of points collected - 12 in total
8. Type the depth length in the Depth Sensor Calibration workflow
9. Fill the measure up pages on GW
10. Bench the depth moving the tool to the height reference point (HRef)
11. Crosscheck the precision of the tool reference point against a ground control point measured with a rover using the same source of corrections and coordinate system - do minour adjustments to the Tool Offsets at the Measure Up page if required
12. Save a backup of the machine.

NOTES

- PosGPS aka moving base is located on the left of the machine (operator perspective)
- CT1 is closer to the PosGPS
- CT1 and CT2 must be the edge of the mast rails, but they do not need to be horizontally aligned
- HRef is the proximity switch location or any repeateable location along the mast where we can set the drill bit to reset the depth sensor systematically
- Ensure the total station is in target DR mode with height 0, except for the GNSS antenna, where the right offset to the APC of each antenna must be applied
